Friday – should I work or should I dive?

It was a damp Friday morning, so rather look at the scenery under the water than the grey sky above, rather dive than do house work, Annette and I agreed!!
We decided that the Faroud at Zurrieq would be the place to dive, so four of us got together ,brave ones in short wet suits, not so brave in dry suits…well the sea temperature was 19 degrees!!
Off we set, with Dave leading, along the reef, past the helmet and then on to the stern of the Um El Faroud. It was abundant with sea life, with my favourites the Barracuda.
Along to the bow, a good photo opportunity through the anchor chain hole!!
As air was starting to get low we had to leave the wreck, for shallower waters, so along the reef, back to the inlet, along the way we met a Moray Eel, who seemed to want his photo taken!!
A bit of practicing with SMBs in the Inlet, the chasing of some pipe fish for photos, and Bent decided to do a bit of a clean-up, but not coke bottles etc, he decided to bring a whole bin up!! ( it’s a man thing, but Dave had to help get it out) Well done, good for the environment!!
So another great dive with members from Scuba Works Malta, and a good excuse for some apr?s dive!!
