		<description><![CDATA[When in 1985, I, together with George Vella and Tony Lautier  started the first Marine Conservation Society to promote the banning of spearfishing with aqualungs and the creations of marine sanctuaries, we were supported by many UK divers. Also giving us a lot of input were the MCS of the UK. One of the things they had mentioned was the efforts that were being made at St.Abbs in Scotland to make this a Voluntary Marine Reserve (VMR).]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[With nearly 100 years of undisturbed growth, the wreck is stunningly beautiful. Every surface is covered in sponges, reds and yellows, growing like fingers or miniature organ pipes. The deck is at such a jaunty angle that it is possible to see half of the wreck and still stay comfortably above 60m. The bow is complete with a deck-mounted gun, again encrusted in beautiful colours.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[ Obviously it being a lovely warm and sunny Sunday in Malta, the scubaworksmalta.com team just had to go diving.

Being July 4th, we just had to make it a 'High 5 Dive Day', just because we are like that ;-)

The BSAC divers looked a little (more than normal) bewildered.

So with full cylinders, scrubbers packed (for the rebreather divers), wetsuits (and even a drysuit?!) we duly met up at the Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal.]]></description>
