Few days ago during a voyage a pleasure yacht lost her anchor. The captain called us to help him to find and recover the anchor.
We had to search a very large underwater area with different topography and bottom composition – from rocks to sandy bottom with sea grass patches and depth from 7 to 35 meters.
Scuba Works Malta team managed to locate the object and recover it on the surface.
Search and recovery is one of the services that we offer under our commercial diving sectio. For more info visit our Services page or contact us

Although this recovery commanded a bit of time it was becourse the search area was large (approx 1/2 Sq mile ). The visability was excellent and the Anchor was sighted from a distance laying in a gulley at 13m. Recoved to the surface using a lift bag with 65kg lift.
